Unley to Stirling

Pick up a car hire in Adelaide and check out the highlights of Unley, Stirling and everywhere in between.

09:15 – Depart Adelaide for Unley  

09:30 - Unley Road is one of Adelaide's premier shopping streets, offering an attractive shopping centre as well as antiques, galleries, fashion and food among leafy streets.

11:00 – Stage 2 Race Start

11:30 – Depart Unley for Mount Lofty Summit

11:50 - Located in the Adelaide Hills and just a 20 minute drive from the city, Mount Lofty Summit  is a "must see" destination for any visitor to South Australia. Each year more than 350,000 people visit the peak which rises 710 metres above sea level. The summit landing provides breathtaking panoramic views across Adelaide's city skyline to the coast, with visibility extending as far as Kangaroo Island on clear days.

12:20 – Depart for Hahndorf  

12:40 - The Lane Vineyard is located in a most beautiful setting. The elevated Vineyard Restaurant enables diners to take in stunning views across the fields to the magnificent rolling hills as far as the eye can see. An alfresco dining area beckons in summer, in winter a wood fire invites you inside.

Hahndorf Hill Winery specialises in exciting new-wave wines, including Gruner Veltliner and Blaufrankish. It also hosts ChocoVino tastings – an experience based on the concept of terroir, where fine wines are matched with the world’s most exclusive chocolate. A small fee applies for this experience and bookings are recommended.

13:45 – Depart for Stirling

14:05 – Arrive in Stirling for the conclusion of the race

14:56 – Stage 2 Race Finish

15:30 – On the completion of the race, why not wind down at the Stirling Hotel.  Featuring a casual bistro, main bar and formal dining area known as the Grill Restaurant.  Take a look and experience the heart of hospitality in the Adelaide Hills!
