Earning Points?

Once you have obtained your Velocity Membership number and activated your Velocity account you are eligible to earn Velocity Points with Europcar on car, bus, truck and van rentals.

Simply enter your Velocity Membership Number into the rental booking engine whilst booking and you will earn Velocity Points when your rental is finalised. Please allow up to 7 working days for Velocity Points to be credited to your account.

Conversion

  • Retail/Leisure Velocity Members
    3 points for red members, 4 Points for silver members and 5 points for gold members per AUD or NZD*
    on time and kilometre charges only excluding (GST) on all eligible rentals within Australia and New Zealand.

  • Corporate rates and Contracted Business Velocity Members
    2 Points per AUD or NZD*
    on time and kilometre charges only excluding (GST) on all eligible rentals within Australia and New Zealand.

  • International Retail/Leisure Velocity Members
    800 Points per eligible rental*

  • International Corporate rates and Contracted Business Velocity Members
    400 Points per eligible rental*

  • International *
    International points are earned on Europcar rentals excluding Australia and New Zealand.

    *New Zealand rentals are paid for in NZD and are converted to AUD by Europcar before being converted to a Points value.

Europcar Rates And Restrictions

Velocity Members can earn Velocity Points on all Australian and New Zealand car hire retail rates at Europcar.

Velocity Points will be allocated to the base rental cost of the vehicle with Europcar. This does not include damage liability cover, vehicle registration fee, premium location fee, admin fee, taxes, GST, one way fees, age surcharges, equipment, additional driver fees, baby/booster seats or GPS and these extra charges do not accumulate Velocity Points. When renting with Europcar, in order to be eligible for points, the name on the rental agreement and the name on the Velocity card must be the same. Only one driver is eligible to earn points for each rental.

Not eligible for Velocity Points:

Booking a vehicle on the following Europcar car rental rates does not earn Velocity Points:

  • Wholesale/Voucher rentals;
  • Airline or staff rates;
  • Industry rates;
  • Insurance replacement rentals.

Velocity Points can only be earned via Europcar when the Velocity member registers their membership number at the time of booking or upon collection for the vehicle.

When renting with Europcar, the Velocity member must be the main driver and collect the vehicle.
