IMPORTANT INFORMATION PRIOR TO PICKING UP YOUR VEHICLE
In New Zealand, you will need to present:
A valid full driver's licence for the main driver and any additional drivers showing a current residential address in English. (If you do not have a valid New Zealand Drivers License, an International Driver's Permit must accompany your driver’s licence.).
A valid credit or debit* card in the name of the main driver, matching the relevant Driver’s Licence
A passport if you are not a New Zealand resident
If using a debit card you are required to provide a second form of acceptable identification in addition to your driver’s licence. For example, utility or phone bill (with matching address), bank statement (with matching address), passport or a credit card matching the main driver information.
NB Payment by debit card is not available on all vehicle types.
Domestic Arrivals: Domestic travellers can find rental car operators on the ground-floor of the multi-level car park building, directly opposite the domestic terminal forecourt
International Arrivals:At the international terminal rental car services are located next to the arrivals area on the ground floor.
Auckland International Counter - Is located within the airport on Ground Level. As you walk out to the Public head towards your right. The Europcar Counter is the 4th Rental Car Counter on your right.

Additional cover to reduce your liability can be purchased at the Europcar counter when you pick up your rental.
Prior to leaving the location, we recommend you inspect your vehicle to ensure that the condition of the vehicle is consistent with the information noted in your rental agreement.
If you notice any discrepancies over and above Fair Wear and Tear, you should advise a team member prior to leaving the Auckland Airport.
If you have already left the rental location ensure you take photos (including a photo of the vehicle's number plate) and contact Europcar within 60 minutes either on 1300 720 055/NZ number or email firstname.lastname@example.org, using your rental agreement number as the email subject. IMPORTANT INFORMATION DURING YOUR RENTAL
Europcar provides complete 24-hour emergency roadside assistance. The contact number to be called is printed on the rental agreement and on the windscreen of the rental vehicle. In the event of a breakdown or an accident, you will receive prompt assistance.
You can travel on all toll roads during your rental as all Europcar vehicles are registered with Linkt.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION PRIOR TO RETURNING YOUR VEHICLE
Domestic Returns: Domestic can find Europcar rental returns on the ground-floor of the multi-level car park building, directly opposite the domestic terminal forecourt. Return the key to the Europcar counter before checking in.
International Returns: To return your Europcar vehicle, stay in the right lane as you approach the Terminal, follow the Rental Car sign. Park in anyone of the Europcar Sign Posted Bays. Return the key to the Europcar counter before checking in.

Follow signage to "Rental Car Return" and drive in to the Europcar parking bays. Then return the key into the key drop box which is located at the Europcar desk in the terminal.
