AANT x Europcar 6-Day Base Rate Refund Promotion
Terms and Conditions
1. The terms of this document, information on how to enter this Promotion, mechanics of entry and the Prize/s form part of the terms and conditions for entry into this Promotion (Conditions). Entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. This Promotion is a game of chance. All entries have an equal chance of winning. The Promoter’s decision is final (subject to oversight of a scrutineer if required by applicable laws) and no correspondence will be entered into with losing and/or ineligible Entrants.
3. The competition will have Two (2) Prize Winners, each winner will win 6 days of their rental car booking’s base cost refunded. The promotion applies to the base cost (time and kilometres) of rental for car bookings only within Australia made and completed before 1 November 2025.
4. The refund of the base cost does not include any fees and taxes, compulsory or optional extras purchased on collection. Optional extras or ancillary items added to the booking include but not limited to: additional driver fees, young driver fees, premium location fees, car seats, premium insurance options, damages, tolls or infringements, if you do not return the vehicle to the same pick-up station, return the vehicle late, or do not return the vehicle full of fuel. If there is damage, theft of the vehicle, or third-party loss, you must also pay up to the standard Damage Liability Fee (DLF). Optional Damage Cover Products may be purchased to reduce your liability, but there may be no cover under some circumstances.
5. Entry is only open to Australian residents who are members of AANT. Entrants must be over the age of 21 years old to enter the Promotion.
6. Employees and their immediate families of CLA Trading Pty Ltd (trading as Europcar Australia) (“The Promoter”), AANT and their associated agencies are not eligible to enter.
7. The Promotion commences on 1 October 2025 at 00:01 (AEST) and concludes on 31 October 2025 at 23:59 (AEDT) (“Promotional Period”).
8. Entrants will be automatically entered into the Promotion when they book a Europcar rental car at https://partners.europcar.com.au/aant or via https://www.aant.com.au/benefits/car-rental during the Promotion Period for a car rental in Australia collected and returned by 1 November 2025.
9. Any entry that is made on behalf of an Entrant by a third party will be deemed invalid.
10. The Promoter reserves the right to request that an Entrant or Winner provide proof of identity, proof of age, proof of residency and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim a Prize. Proof of identification, residency, age, relevant auto club membership and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a Winner cannot provide suitable proof, the Winner will forfeit the Prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
11. Entries must be received by 23:59 (AEDT) on 31 October 2025 at 23:59. The time of the entry will in each case be the time the entry (current car rental booking) is returned to the station. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries for any reason. If the promotion entry Car Rental booking is cancelled or refunded at any time then the corresponding entry or entries will be deemed invalid. Entries received will be considered final by the Promoter. Illegible, incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction or otherwise including those entries not received by the Promoter.
12. Any costs associated with entering the Promotion remain an Entrant’s responsibility and may vary. 13. Europcar standard age, credit card, and driver requirements apply to the prize winner. 14. Prizes are subject to Europcar’s standard rental terms and conditions.
15. The total prize value is $960.00 (including GST).
16. All prize values are correct as at 30 September 2025 and are reflective of the recommended retail price and are in Australian dollars (AUD). The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variations in the prize values.
17. Unless expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions, all other expenses become the responsibility of the Winners.
18. Each valid entrant who has entered the Promotion over the duration of the Promotional Period will be entered into the winner determination. The winner determination will take place at Europcar Australia, 189 South Centre Road, Tullamarine, Victoria 3043 at 13:00 (AEDT) on Thursday 6 November 2025 using computerised random selection. The Winners will be notified in writing within two (2) days of the winner determination. and their last name and first initial will be published on the Europcar- https://partners.europcar.com.au/aant within 2 weeks from the draw.
19. Prizes will be awarded to the main driver listed on the winning booking and linked to the card on file.
20. If any particular winner determination is scheduled on a Public Holiday, the winner determination will be conducted on the following business day.
21. Should an Entrant’s contact details change during the Promotional Period, it is the Entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to change or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
22. The Promoter’s decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the Promotion result.
23. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent, or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Promotion on the dates and in the manner described in these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Promotion and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
24. The Promoter shall not be liable to any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prizes except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
25. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the user, or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this Promotion, or for any technical error, or combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this Promotion including omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
26. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
27. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information about the Entrant to enable the Entrant to participate in the Promotion, but no further use of this information will be made without prior consent.
28. The Promoter is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and by entering the competition, the Entrant is taken to consent to Europcar Australia’s privacy policy which contains information, among other things, about how the Entrant may access personal information that is held by Europcar Australia about them and seek correction of such information. The Promoter’s APP Privacy Policy also contains information about how the Entrant may complain about a breach of the APPs, or a registered code that is binding on the Promoter’s organisation and how Europcar Australia will deal with such complaints. The Promoter generally does not give an Entrant’s personal information to anyone outside of Australia or New Zealand.
29. By entering this Promotion, Entrants are deemed to have expressly consented to the Promoter’s use of their personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), Spam Act 2003 (Cth), and other related communication and privacy legislation for marketing and other business purposes.
30. Entrant’s personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and Winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.
31. The Promoter is CLA Trading Pty Ltd (trading as Europcar Australia) (ABN 81 082 220 399) of 189 South Centre Road, Tullamarine, Victoria 3043, Australia.
