This depends on the car you drive as different cars have various connections. Once you visit PlugShare to determine a location, you can filter through charge points that will be suitable for your car.

The costs of public charging vary. Some locations offer a flat rate, and other charge per KW or for time used. For an overview, refer to the PlugShare site which will tell you all relevant details including costs for each location.

An EV drives just like a normal car, only powered by electricity in the form of the battery. We will supply a handy ‘how-to’ guides for every EV model. You can also find a QR code on your key chain for further information.

The km range is based on make and model. However we estimate 300kms based on a EV which is 80% charged. Your EV display screen will show you specific information related to battery charge and driving range

The time it takes to charge your EV will depend on how many kW you want, and what type of connection. The following can be used as a guide:

Public Charging station times will vary from 30 mins at a DC Super Charger (Power 150 – 350 kW) and up to 8 hours at an AC Fast Charging Station (Power 7 – 22kW).

Charging from a standard residential power point (Power 2.4 to 3.7kW), charging time may take up to 38 hours.

Pricing varies depending on the charging location. Some are free at all times, some charge a per kWh rate. As a general guideline, slower chargers usually cost less or are in some cases free, and faster chargers usually cost more.

Customers must return the vehicle 80% or above charged or a recharge fee applies
