Terms and conditions
1. General
1.1 By participating to the Offer, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1.2 This Offer is not valid in conjunction with any other promotions, discounts, or special offers. Miles cannot be earned on discounted rentals.
2. Eligibility
2.1 This Offer is available only for Cathay members.
2.2 To benefit from this Offer, you must book your car rental via the dedicated Cathay and Europcar landing page: https://www.europcar.com/en-us/p/europcar-partner/asia-miles
2.3 You must present a valid Cathay membership card (digital or physical) in the name of the Member making the booking at the Europcar station when picking up the rented vehicle.
2.4 The same Member cannot earn benefits for more than one rental at any given time, and only one rental can be recorded within the scope of this Offer.
3. Promotional Period
3.1 This Offer is valid for rental bookings made between July 20 and September 14, 2026 (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotional Period”), unless otherwise extended or modified at Europcar’s own and entire discretion.
3.2 Rentals must occur (vehicle pickup) from July 20, 2026, to November 30, 2026 (both dates inclusive).
4. Offer Specifics and Country-Specific Discounts
4.1 As a Cathay member, rentals of 2 days or more will receive 2X Miles (1,000 miles total), applied to the standard base of 500 miles.
4.2 Discounts are subject to vehicle availability at participating stations. The following country-specific terms apply:
- France: Up to 15% discount for rentals between 3 and 21 days. Valid for pick-up from 20 July 2026 to 15 December 2026 across only corporate stations in France.
- Germany: Up to 15% discount for rentals between 3 and 27 days. Valid for pick-ups from 20 July 2026 to 15 December 2026 across only airport stations in Germany.
- Denmark: Up to 10% discount for rentals between 3 and 27 days. Valid for pick-ups from 20 July 2026 to 15 December 2026 across all stations in Denmark.
- Italy: Up to 10% discount for rentals between 3 and 21 days. Valid for pick-ups from 20 July 2026 to 5 September 2026 across all North and Center stations in Italy excluding South stations and Sicily. Valid for pick-ups from 4 October 2026 to 15 December 2026 across all stations in Italy.
- Belgium: Up to 10% discount for rentals between 3 and 21 days. Valid for pick-ups from 20 July 2026 to 15 December 2026 across all stations in Belgium.
- Luxembourg: Up to 10% discount for rentals between 3 and 21 days. Valid for pick-ups from 20 July 2026 to 15 December 2026 across all stations in Luxembourg.
- Netherlands: Up to 15% discount for rentals between 3 and 21 days. Valid for pick-ups from 20 July 2026 to 15 December 2026 across all stations in Netherlands.
- Australia: Up to 10% discount for rentals between 3 and 21 days. Valid for reservation made made between July 20 and August 17, 2026, for vehicle pickups from July 20 through December 15, 2026 across all stations in New Australia. A nationwide blackout period applies from September 17 to October 5, 2026.
- New Zealand: Up to 10% discount for rentals between 3 and 21 days. Valid for reservation made made between July 20 and August 17, 2026, for vehicle pickups from July 20 through December 15, 2026 across all stations in New Zealand. A nationwide blackout period applies from September 17 to October 5, 2026.
4.3 This Offer applies to all vehicle categories and replaces any existing tier-based bonuses for the duration of the Promotional Period.
4.4 Your rental must be booked directly through the official booking channel.
4.5 This Offer is valid for bookings made during the Promotional Period only.
4.6 Miles should be credited to the member’s account within 6 to 8 weeks after the completion of the car rental.
4.7 Miles earned through this Offer are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
4.8 Only the Cathay member renting the car can earn miles.
4.9 This Offer is not available for car rental bookings made in the USA, Canada, Japan, India, and China.
4.10 This Offer is applicable for rentals with a maximum duration of 21 days. Rentals exceeding 21 days will not be eligible for the promotional multipliers.
5. Assistance
5.1 In the event of any required assistance with the car rental, Members must liaise with Europcar Station from which the car was rented and show their rental receipt.
