IMPORTANT INFORMATION PRIOR TO PICKING UP YOUR VEHICLE
In Australia, you need to present:
A valid full driver's licence for the main driver and any additional drivers showing a current residential address in English. If you do not have a valid Australian Drivers License, an International Driver's Permit must accompany your driver’s licence.
A valid credit or debit card in the name of the main driver, matching the relevant Driver’s Licence
A passport if you are not an Australian resident
If using a debit card, you are required to provide a second form of acceptable identification in addition to your driver’s licence. For example, utility or phone bill (with matching address), bank statement (with matching address), passport or a credit card matching the main driver information.
NB: Payment by debit card is only available on selected vehicle types.
The Europcar counter is located inside the arrivals hall near the baggage collection carousels at both the domestic and international terminals.
The International terminal desk is not always manned so on arrival please make your way to the Europcar booth and use the phone on the counter to speak to a Europcar team member.

Additional cover to reduce your liability can be purchased at the Europcar counter when you pick up your rental.
Prior to leaving the location, we recommend you inspect your vehicle to ensure that the condition of the vehicle is consistent with the information noted in your rental agreement.
If you notice any discrepancies over and above Fair Wear and Tear, you should advise a team member prior to leaving the Cairns Airport.
If you have already left the rental location ensure you take photos (including a photo of the vehicle's number plate) and contact Europcar within 60 minutes either on 1300 720 055/NZ number or email email@example.com, using your rental agreement number as the email subject. IMPORTANT INFORMATION DURING YOUR RENTAL
Europcar provides complete 24-hour emergency roadside assistance. The contact number to be called is printed on the rental agreement and on the windscreen of the rental vehicle. In the event of a breakdown or an accident, you will receive prompt assistance.
You can travel on all toll roads during your rental as all Europcar vehicles are registered with Linkt

IMPORTANT INFORMATION PRIOR TO RETURNING YOUR VEHICLE
Follow the signs on Airport Avenue to the domestic or international car rental car parks. Please park in any of the Europcar parking bays, which are located on the left hand side, the 1st exit after the 2nd roundabout.
The Domestic Terminal carpark is manned between 8.00am and 5.00pm. Outside these hours keys must be returned to counter in the domestic or international terminals.

Return the key into the key drop box in the Europcar parking area booth or alternatively at the Europcar counter inside both the international and domestic terminal.
