IMPORTANT INFORMATION PRIOR TO PICKING UP YOUR VEHICLE
In New Zealand, you will need to present:
A valid full driver's licence for the main driver and any additional drivers showing a current residential address in English. (If you do not have a valid New Zealand Drivers License, an International Driver's Permit must accompany your driver’s licence.).
A valid credit or debit* card in the name of the main driver, matching the relevant Driver’s Licence
A passport if you are not a New Zealand resident
If using a debit card you are required to provide a second form of acceptable identification in addition to your driver’s licence. For example, utility or phone bill (with matching address), bank statement (with matching address), passport or a credit card matching the main driver information.
NB Payment by debit card is not available on all vehicle types.
Christchurch Airport Counter is located within the Airport Main Terminal at Ground level. As you exit the customs area, please proceed to the ground level. 'Car Rental Pickup' signs are all over the Airport to direct customer to the counter. If you are arriving on a Domestic Flight, the Rental Pickup area is just opposite the luggage pickup area.

Additional cover to reduce your liability can be purchased at the Europcar counter when you pick up your rental.
Prior to leaving the location, we recommend you inspect your vehicle to ensure that the condition of the vehicle is consistent with the information noted in your rental agreement. If you notice any discrepancies over and above Fair Wear and Tear, you should advise a team member prior to leaving the Christchurch Airport.
If you have already left the rental location ensure you take photos (including a photo of the vehicle's number plate) and contact Europcar within 60 minutes either on 1300 720 055/NZ number or email myrental@europcar.com.au, using your rental agreement number as the email subject. IMPORTANT INFORMATION DURING YOUR RENTAL
Europcar provides complete 24-hour emergency roadside assistance. The contact number to be called is printed on the rental agreement and on the windscreen of the rental vehicle. In the event of a breakdown or an accident, you will receive prompt assistance.

You can travel on all toll roads during your rental as all Europcar vehicles are registered with Linkt.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION PRIOR TO RETURNING YOUR VEHICLE
To return your vehicle, follow the signs to 'Rental Vehicle Returns' and park the vehicle in a Europcar parking bay.

To return your vehicle after hours, follow the general returns process, lock the vehicle and drop the keys in the drop box located at the Europcar counter on the let hand side wall inside the terminal building.
